The Inquiry will work together with victims and survivors to shape our thinking, challenge our assumptions and ensure experience informs our work from start to finish. We want our thinking and recommendations to reflect the experiences of victims and survivors.
The Inquiry will hold regular discussions between the Chair and Panel and victims from survivor groups to explore emerging themes, identify issues of importance and seek feedback on specific areas of the Inquiry’s work.
Later sessions will explore emerging findings, and seek views on whether potential recommendations are meaningful, practical and capable of making a real difference.
The Inquiry will also organise thematic workshops led by facilitators alongside the inquiry team to explore victims’ and survivors’ perspectives on key issues that affect them.
Online surveys with specific questions to enable victims and survivors to share their views anonymously, and at a time that suits them, will also go live.
Further details about how to get involved in these workshops and surveys will be available on this page later this year.
This engagement will help the Inquiry understand the issues that matter most to victims and survivors and inform key lines of our inquiry and recommendations.
